Have fun, learn new skills, and make new friends when you join a volunteer group, help out in our office or do your own thing for Plan.
Volunteering is a great way to be a part of Plan's work. Volunteer support extends the reach of Plan's communication and fundraising in a cost effective way. Our volunteers are a diverse group of people who volunteer for Plan in the following ways.
We always have work that needs to be done in our National Office in Melbourne and we have a group of volunteers who help us on a regular basis with the day-to-day running of our busy office. Meet some of Plan's wonderful office volunteers.
To register for volunteer opportunities, join or login to MyPlan and subscribe to volunteer news under the My Profile section. You will be alerted of any opportunties as they arise in our national office. (Please note: in the interest of child protection, all volunteers will be required to complete and submit a Police Check application when applying for volunteer duties).
You can help us ensure that our face-to-face fundraisers are presenting Plan in the best possible light in your local area. For more information and a list of fundraising sites, click here.
With our national office in Melbourne, we rely on our city-based Friends of Plan groups to extend our work around Australia. Their activities have included everything from theatre parties and market stalls to black tie dinners, film nights, photographic exhibitions and overseas visits to Plan communities!
To join or start up a Friends of Plan group in your city send a message to our Volunteer/Event Coordinator.
